All the Rivers Run
2019

"I spent my teenage summers swimming and riding horses in the Broken River and in dams and nearby lakes filled with dead trees. We lived in Benalla, Pangarang in North East Victoria and mucked around a lot, took risks and bared our bodies. I sensed an unspoken past. I imagined the river bank of the Broken River when it was once a lifeline for local Aboriginal mob, a meeting place with sacred sites. I questioned why the early settlers called the river broken”.
